Baroque gardens drew upon mathematics and science, imposing rational geometric patterns in an attempt to improve and control nature. Dotted with statues and fountains along with fossil fuel heated growing structures, they can be viewed as the beginning of modern horticulture.
The works consists of a hydroponic system constructed from parts of previous works, found furniture and the existing central heating. The growth of chillies is supported by elements from Baroque garden design, controlled environment agriculture and design history.
